Chinatown Pride 2026
Saturday, May 23, 2026 May 23, 2026 Stanford Court
Chinatown Pride returns to San Francisco for a powerful evening celebration that transforms the historic neighborhood into a bold stage for queer AAPI visibility and storytelling. Co-presented by the Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco and Edge on the Square, this event blends art and activism to honor a 60-year legacy of community resistance.
The "We Are Immortal" Experience:
- Pride Procession: The night kicks off at 6:00 PM with an inaugural procession led by artists from the Gay Asian Pacific Alliance (GAPA). Along the foot journey, learn choreographed dance moves at various queer historical landmarks throughout Chinatown.
- Immortal Runway: Witness premiere performances by the Rice Rockettes, San Francisco’s iconic AAPI drag troupe, and the GAPA Royals.
- Art Activations: Visit the CCC galleries for interactive art stations led by queer Asian artists. Experience large-scale installations like "Arm Day, Leg Day"—a playful take on traditional guardian lions.
- Silent Disco on the Bridge: Dance the night away on the iconic Dr. Rolland and Kathryn Lowe Community Bridge. DJs will spin channels of nostalgic Asian oldies, international hits, and modern pop.
- Resource Fair: Connect with local organizations during a community fair focused on immigrant and LGBTQIA2S+ rights and wellness.
