Step into a winter wonderland by the Bay at PIER 39. This season, the pier's majestic 60-foot Christmas tree serves as the centerpiece for a dazzling multi-colored light display. Whether you’re visiting for the sea lions or the shopping, the holiday lineup offers festive fun for the whole family.
Seasonal Highlights:
- Nightly Tree Light Show: Every half hour from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the holiday tree comes to life with a choreographed light and music show.
- Santa at the Welcome Center: Bring the kids to the California Welcome Center every Friday and Saturday (through Dec 20) to snap a photo with Santa Claus.
- Holiday Craft Day: Enjoy a dedicated afternoon of free, family-friendly craft activities on December 6 (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM).
- Live Music Series: Get into the spirit with live holiday performances and carolers on December 5, 12, and 19.
- Festive Shopping & Dining: Explore two levels of specialty shops and bay-view restaurants, all decked out in their holiday finest.
