Weekend in SF with Kids

Travel Tips

Planning a summer trip to San Francisco with the family? From toddlers to teens, the city has sights, museums and parks that will keep your kids off their phones and immersed in the experience—except when taking photos or videos!

Fun Attractions

Riding a Cable Car in San Francisco is a must, especially when your hotel, Stanford Court, is right across the street. Kids of all ages will enjoy seeing the sights and taking selfies while riding up and down the hills.

Another must-see attraction for anyone with a sweet tooth is Ghirardelli Square. This city landmark is mostly famous for being the home of the The Original Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop. Youngsters will enjoy filling up bags of delectable treats before making their own quake shake. For the parents, we recommend trying the local specialty: the Nob Hill Chill.

Young mavericks in the making need to blow off some steam, particularly after eating all that chocolate! That’s where House of Air comes in. Located in a historic airplane hangar close to Golden Gate Bridge, House of Air is an indoor trampoline park with fun trampoline options for children 2 and up.
