When can we Check-in and Check-out?
Check-in: 4pm, Check-out: 12pm Noon
Is Late Check-out available?
Late check-out is based on availability. Please reach out to our front desk to inquire if a check-out is available. Unrequested late departures will be subject to a fee of up to one full night's stay.
Is early check-in available?
Early check-in is based on availability. If a room is not available for early check-in, we can gladly hold your luggage until check-in is available.
What is the cost of high-speed/wifi internet access?
Our Nob Hill Destination Fee includes blazing-fast wifi in your guestroom and in all public spaces.
Where is your hotel located?
We are located at 905 California Street, San Francisco, CA 94108 at the corner of Powell St. and California St. atop the prestigious Nob Hill.
Do you offer shuttle service from the airport?
We do not have a shuttle. It's San Francisco! Ride-sharing is readily available to get you where you need to be!
Is public transportation available from the SFO airport?
BART (SF's rapid transit system) offers transportation from SFO to Powell St. and Montgomery St. stations. From the stations, the hotel is a 15-minute walk. Please note that it will be an uphill walk as the hotel is located atop the prized Nob Hill. From the stations, bus, cable car, ride share, or taxi can also be used to connect to the hotel.
Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking?
Yes, we offer valet parking. Fee: $75+ tax/night. ($82 + tax/night for oversized vehicles.) Our Parking Package is a great deal if you're driving in the to city.
Do you allow pets and what is the pet fee?
Stanford Court San Francisco is proud to be a pet-friendly boutique hotel. Our Nob Hill neighborhood — along with nearby Huntington Park — is great for walks and meeting some of SF’s sweetest fur babies. A $75 pet and deep cleaning fee includes a take-home doggie bag filled with chew toys, waste sacks, dog walking map, and other treats as well as food and water bowls and a plush dog bed for use during your stay.
What is included in the Nob Hill Destination Fee and what is the nightly cost?
A $38 + tax nightly urban fee covers Stanford Court hotel’s extensive amenities. This fee is subject to San Francisco occupancy tax. The Nob Hill Destination Fee includes:
• High-speed WiFi
• Google Chromecast in-room streaming
• Expansive, state-of-the-art fitness center
• Morning beverage service 6:00am-1:00pm featuring tea + La Colombe coffee
• Stanford Court water bottle + FloWater filling stations
• Day-use of bicycles and e-bikes (based on availability)
• Business Center with iMac computers
• Printing & faxing
• Complimentary package receiving and handling
• Local & domestic long-distance calls

Do you offer breakfast?
Continental Breakfast ($24 + tax) and Full American Breakfast Buffet ($36 + tax) options are available at our restaurant. Our Breakfast Package offers a great option for both room rate & Breakfast.
Is room service available?
We do not offer room service. Our Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, hours and additional information are available on our website's dining page.
Do you have a fitness center? What are the hours?
Yes, our newly expanded fitness center is located on the main level and available 24 hours
What kind of equipment does the fitness center offer?
Precor Treadmills & elliptical machines, free weights, boxing bag, stationary bikes, access to Kinima.fit’s virtual fitness training platform, and more
Will your rooms allow rollaways/cribs? Is there a charge?
Rollaways are $35 per night. No additional charges for cribs. Some rooms (including all rooms with two beds) cannot accommodate Rollaways due to fire safety restrictions. Cribs & rollaways upon request & availability
Are pets permitted in your hotels? Is there a fee?
Yes, Stanford Court is dog friendly and charges a $75.00 per stay pet fee. A pet waiver must be signed at check-in. The fee is waived for service animals.
Do you allow smoking on property?
We are a non-smoking hotel. There are designated smoking areas outside of the hotel
What is the minimum age requirement to check into the room?
The minimum age to register with and stay in the hotel is 18.
Are there a maximum number of occupants permitted in each guestroom?
Yes. The maximum number of occupants is based on room type, ex- 2 persons max permitted in a single-bed room Standard or Deluxe room, 3 persons max permitted in our Premier rooms and Studio Suites; a maximum of 4 persons is allowed in rooms with two beds.
Is a credit card required to guarantee a reservation?
Yes, a valid credit card is required to guarantee and secure your reservations. The credit card must be present at check-in along with valid photo identification of the cardholder and registered hotel guest.
Can I change or cancel a reservation online?
Cancellation Policies vary based on the type of reservation and the rate booked, refer to reservation confirmation for policy.
Cancellable reservations can be canceled online using your name + reservation confirmation or cc number.
For reservations booked on third-party sites (expedia, booking.com), please contact the third-party company directly.
What is your cancellation/deposit policy?
Cancellation Policies vary based on the type of reservation and the rate booked, refer to reservation confirmation for policy.
For our 24-hour cancel policy, cancellations must be received by 4:00pm 1 day prior to arrival.
Non Refundable reservations cannot be canceled.
What if I can't find my reservation online

Will there be an authorization fee at check-in?
Yes, our required authorization of $100 per night will be charged at check-in, authorization released at check-out, and may take 3-5 business days to return to your card. Please contact your bank directly for authorization release details.
Will my credit card be charged if I don't check in on the date of arrival?
Yes, our no-show fee is 1 Night Room & Tax. For non-refundable reservations, the full amount is charged. Reservation will be released, additional nights will need to be rebooked.
Can I reserve multiple rooms with one reservation?
Yes, multiple rooms can be booked online or with us, each room will have a different confirmation number.
Can I book my company's negotiated rate online?
Yes, use the booking code provided by the company in the "offer code" field.
If I change my reservations, will my rate change?
Yes, rates will change based on dates of stay. Rates are affected by many factors including seasonality, day of week, or room type.
Can I book special convention rates online?
No, Please refer to the housing office for convention rate reservations.
Can I reserve connecting rooms?
Connecting rooms may be requested, but cannot be guaranteed until check-in. Connecting rooms based on availability.
Can I pre-pay for the reservation?
Yes, contact the Reservations department or book our Non Refundable reservations.
How do I pay for someone else's reservation?
Complete a CC Authorization form and fax it to us. Must be received at least 24 hrs prior to arrival to accommodate for the approval process. Contact our reservations department for form, reservations@stanfordcourt.com.
How can I make a group reservation? Do you offer discounts to groups?
For groups needing 10 or more rooms, please contact our Sales Department at sales@stanfordcourt.com.
