The award-winning English singer has hit her stride after the release of her self-titled debut album in 2017. Dua Lipa is a new force in the pop scene and her husky alto voice ensures that she’ll stick around. Show is Feb 13 at The Masonic.
The cutting comic and show creator is a living legend, known for his shrewd jokes and no-holds-barred approach to just about everything (including insulting all of Hollywood while hosting the Golden Globes). This American indie band from Chapel Hill formed in 1989 and is still laying down tracks and playing shows. Superchunk is set to play at the Great American Music Hall on Feb. 25. Opening act is rock duo Bat Fangs. Ticket info here.
This musical created by South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker is a show that even those who dislike musicals can enjoy. The Tony-award winning Book of Mormon is back in SF to the delight of theater-goers and comedy fans. It opens Feb. 6 at the Orpheum Theatre. This iconic musical has such a long shelf life because of its explosive musical score, moving love story and little bit of mambo.
