The Best of SF Holiday and Winter #LocalBrews

Food & Drink

When all you want for Christmas is a perfectly crafted beer with a splash of holiday cheer, no place on Earth does it better than San Francisco. OK, it might be a bold statement, but after tasting these local holiday brews, you’ll feel like Christmas has indeed arrived and all is right in the world.

Seven Stills Zour Grapes

The love child of our collaboration with Altbrau is a “Nelson dry-hopped kettle sour saison ale" brewed with Sauvignon Blanc. A unique mélange of beer and white wine unlike anything we’ve tried before… With an injection of spice from the punk rock label that could come from no other than Altbrau. A brew for the rebel who is always looking for the next out-of-the-ordinary drink.

Seven Stills Beer Money

It’s time to play with your drink. Our Beer Money IPA is our second brew to come in an interactive can. Each label is adorned with a bona fide scratcher. Scratch off and see what you've won! Now, down to the beer. This IPA is built with Cryo, Mosaic, Simcoe and Cascade Loop Juice, a super-intense concentrate of lupulin extract. And we think this is one of the best IPA’s we’ve ever made!

Anchor Christmas Ale

The iconic San Francisco brewery brings back its holiday tradition for the 44th time. The 2018 Christmas Ale is, as usual, a secret recipe but what’s no secret are the toasty cocoa notes, roasted malts, holiday spices and strong aromas of resinous pine. It’s the best of Christmas flavors in a bottle.

When you’re cold this winter, forget about the knitted sweater and instead order a pint of Winter Sweater. This imperial porter is made with chocolate malt, Graham crackers and Madagascar Vanilla Beans. The result is liquid warmth that will beat even your grandma’s coziest knits.

Ferment.Drink.Repeat El Unicornio Mexican Chocolate White Stout

A little south of the border for you. Imagine this: a Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout brewed with cacao nibs, Ancho, Chipotle, Pasilla, Thai chile peppers, cinnamon, and Four Barrel coffee. The result is a golden beer as mythical as a unicorn. You have to try it to believe it.

If you feel at home with a cold one — or warm one, in some cases — in your hand, make Stanford Court  and Nob Hill your home this holiday season. Our Home for the Holidays package includes accommodations in our newly redesigned rooms and a $25 Dine & Drink voucher per day, towards Breakfast at Commons Cafe or Dinner and Drinks at Seven Stills Nob Hill. The cherry on the cake is a 1pm late checkout — perfect for that post-Christmas lie in!
