Super Bowl 50
San Francisco 49ers and fans have had some ups and downs since our first Super Bowl appearance in 1982 with a 26-21 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Pontiac, Michigan. The glory days of Joe Montana and Jerry Rice of the ‘90s remind us why we start each season #49erFAITHFUL– all for the hope of kissing that trophy as the confetti cascades down. With a rough season for the Niners this year and no shot at the championship, the faithful fans are grateful to partake in the Super Bowl 50 festivities in a unique way.
In a few short days, Super Bowl 50 City hosted by Verizon will open near the Embarcadero and it is about to get nuts! A lot has changed since the Bay Area last hosted Super Bowl XIX in 1985 at Stanford Stadium and I’ve got all of the details on the best way to enjoy the Super Bowl!
