San Francisco Holiday Guide 2022

The 2022 Holiday season will be upon us soon. There are dozens of holiday events in San Francisco and here are some of our favorites:

SF Ballet’s Nutcracker
Venue: War Memorial Opera House

The Nutcracker is a classic two-act ballet adapted from the 1816 short story “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King”. This holiday tradition is magical for the entire family.

A Christmas Carol
Venue: The Geary Theater
Dates: November 30 – December 24

This Charles Dickens classic is fun for the whole family with a spirited cast, lively music, and gorgeous costumes.

SF Symphony Holiday Concert Season
Venue: Davies Symphony Hall
Dates: December TBD

Each year the San Francisco Symphony celebrates the holidays with fantastic performances. The schedule is yet to be released for 2022, but it is sure to be fabulous.

Great Dickens Christmas Fair
Venue: Cow Palace Exhibition Halls
Dates: Weekends November 19 – December 18

This immersive experience is set in Victorian-era London and includes hundreds of costumed actors in elaborate period sets. A must-visit holiday attraction.

SantaCon San Francisco
Venue: Union Square
Date: December 10

Everyone loves Santa Claus. And on December 10th, everyone can BE Santa. This is the largest gathering of Santa’s in the Bay Area and a lot of fun. Don’t forget to bring an unwrapped toy for the SF Fire Department Toy Drive.
