Presidio Tunnel Tops Park Opens
After more than 30 years, the Presidio Tunnel Tops project has been completed in San Francisco, connecting the Presidio's Main Post to Crissy Field.
This is huge news for lovers of San Francisco and the Presidio grounds as for the first time, visitors can walk (or bike) over the twin tunnels without being stopped by the highway. The newly opened site features native gardens, picnic areas, benches, beautiful views and a huge campfire circle along with a 2 acre kids play area.

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING
Catch the Muni 30 from Stockton and Sacramento and get off at Mason & Lyon (Crissy Field East Beach).
If driving, there are paid parking lots available near the Presidio Visitor Center at 210 Lincoln Blvd.)
If biking, there are bike racks and bike lockers located at the Presidio Tunnel Tops.
PICNIC AREA
There are designated picnic areas or plenty of grass to lay a blanket onto. Pack up a lunch and some beverages and find a spot in one of San Francisco's best spots for a picnic.
OUTPOST PLAY AREA
The kids are going to LOVE this area with numerous play structures and tons of space to run around and explore.
