Mother’s Day Activities in San Francisco
Are you celebrating your mother, grandmother, aunt or yourself this Mother’s Day and want to do something fun and different? Instead of making brunch the main attraction, check out some of our favorite Mother’s Day Activities in San Francisco! We promise you will have a blast spending time with loved ones and enjoying San Francisco.
Exploratorium Free Day
Mom taught you there was always something new to learn. Return the favor with a Free Day at the Exploratorium museum on the Embarcadero! Stroll along the waterfront and enjoy gorgeous Bay views before exploring San Francisco’s most interactive attraction. Details on the Exploratorium website here.
Marina Greens Race
Have some fitness fun with this year’s Mother’s Day Marina Greens Race. This is the perfect way to get active and celebrate healthy living. Kids can also join in on the fun with their own ½ mile race! Ages 12 and under are free and 12 and older are $5– you can’t beat that!
Bike the Bridge
Want to explore even more of San Francisco? Book our Bike the Bridge package so you can hop on one of our hotel bikes and get out there! Our favorite destination is the Golden Gate Bridge. Pedestrians walk on the east side and bicyclists write on the west side so you will feel like you have the bridge to yourself. Enjoy brunch in Sausalito before your return trip. It is a favorite for all ages.
Giants versus the Rockies
Baseball is a big deal in San Francisco and our Giants games are always a blast. Celebrate mother’s day with some quality time at AT&T park. Hot dogs, cracker jacks, home runs, cheering– what more could you want for Mother’s Day? The Giants are celebrating moms by offering the first 20,000 fans a special Giants Mother’s Day tote! View the Giants schedule here.
From all of us at Stanford Court, we hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
