Don’t Miss These Acts at Outside Lands 2019
The Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival isn’t your typical music fest. The three-day gathering is a celebration of Northern California ingenuity, featuring foodfare from James Beard award-winning chefs, regional wines, craft brews, and music all set in the lush Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. There’s really no other fest like it.

At Stanford Court Hotel, we’re excited about the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival. For one, our friends at Seven Stills Brewery & Distillery will be one of 30 featured brewers pouring in the designated Beer Lands tent during the event. We’re also featuring a special rate for the occasion as part of our Outside Lands Package, which includes $25 in Lyft credit and other awesome goodies – especially if you enjoy craft beer. Amid all the excitement, make sure to head toward the stage during these acts.
Anderson Paak & the Free Nationals
If there’s one thing this group has, it’s blood in their veins. Anderson Paak & the Free Nationals pack a mean punch of energy, with a hodgepodge of musical influences that groove like funk, impassion like soul, and seduce like R&B. Did we mention a healthy dose of hip-hop and rap? See them on the mainstage Sunday, Aug. 11.
The days of the Childish Gambino moniker may be numbered, and with just two more performances planned for 2019, this set at Outside Lands is a must. Plus, the hit-song “This is America” won all four of its nominations at the 2019 Grammy Awards and will probably be dissected for decades to come. Childish Gambino takes the mainstage Saturday, Aug. 10.
This London-born singer/songwriter is picking up steam since the release of her debut album in the fall of 2018. Her hit song “Boo’d Up” won the Best R&B Song at the Grammy Awards in February, and it’s the longest running #1 hit by a woman on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart this decade. She’s certainly an upcoming artist to look out for. See her take the stage Aug. 10.
The Texan singer songwriter recently released her fourth full-length album that’s regarded as a cross-over from her country roots. Golden Hour, which won album of the year at the Grammys, features synthy pop’s marriage to contemporary country music. See her performance Sunday, August 11.
These alt-rockers from Los Angeles released their first full-length album Nothing Happens earlier this year and have been on the up-and-up ever since. They’re definitely a band to keep an eye on as they evolve past their coming-of-age debut. Catch their set Saturday, Aug. 10.
Outside Lands 2019 is happening August 9-11 at Golden Gate Park. For more info, consult the official website.
