2018 SF Valentine’s Day Events & Activities

Travel Tips

Whatever your plans this Valentine’s Day, if you’re in SF it’s hard to beat a visit to Cupid’s Span. It’s a two-story tall, 135-foot wide tribute to the mischievous god of love himself. And it’s the perfect spot — not only for some great views of the bridge and bay — but also for a quick selfie or a kiss (or both) with that special someone.

And when you two lovebirds are done there, here are some other SF Valentine’s Day treats to fall in love with …

Valentine’s Day Food Tour

Hours of food, fun, and romance. The Valentine’s Day Food Tour begins in Little Italy. Experience great food, learn how it's made, and enjoy amazing coffee, truffles, bread, and pastries. All food and drinks are included on your leisurely seven-block stroll around Little Italy/North Beach.

Valentine’s Day Parents’ Night Out

When you have kids, the best Valentine’s Day plans start with getting an awesome babysitter — and here’s one of the best you’ll find: The Habitot Children’s Museum. Drop off the kids from 5:30pm to 9:30pm for a fun evening of pizza and a supervised museum exploration while you enjoy a night out!

When: Wednesday, February 14, 2018; 5:30pm - 9:30pm
Where: Habitot Children's Museum

Valentine’s Day Pillow Fight 2018

Ok, this one’s a bit … unconfirmed. Imagine you and 1,000 other people in a pillow fight in the middle of San Francisco. Now imagine no more, because it’s happening … maybe. You see, this is a decentralized, unofficial (and unpermitted) event, so attend at your own risk of being disappointed. Maybe just bring a pillow with you on your date and see what happens. You’ll at least be able to defend yourself if, hypothetically speaking, there happened to be a flash mob of hundreds of people pillow-fighting the night away in Justin Herman Plaza.

When: Maybe … Wednesday, February 14, 2018; 5:50pm
Where: Maybe … Justin Herman Plaza
