Super Bowl 50!

Hello everyone! We cannot believe we are already in the second week of January. This year is going to be a pretty great one, and not to mention the Superbowl is around the corner.

 

If you haven’t heard, well the Super Bowl is going to be in our lovely state! Super Bowl 50 is on February 7, 2016 at 3:25PM in the City of Santa Clara at the state-of-the-art Levi’s® Stadium. It’s one of the most technologically and eco-friendly stadiums in the United States. Remember, we are all for making our planet a better place, so we are all for a green stadium hosting the Super Bowl!

Now that you have your accommodation taken care of, let’s discuss what all is going on the week of the game. We highly suggest that you check out the Super Bowl City fan village, the NFL Experience and more!

 

Super Bowl City: We are excited to say this is a FREE “fan” village for all of our football lovers, and it’s only a cable car away from our hotel. This interactive theme park is going to be at the Moscone Center. There will be tons of family-friendly activities for fans of all ages. We are all for free events, especially with the opportunity for locals and visitors to enjoy the Super Bowl all in one place. It’s going to show what our amazing city has to offer, “with interactive games and activities that highlight the region’s technological prowess, culinary excellence and cultural diversity, as well as celebrate the 50th Super Bowl and the Bay Area’s place in professional football history.”

 

The NFL Experience is also  located at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. It’s another event that will celebrate all things football.

 

Highlights will include:

 

• Interactive games so you can pass like a pro or take a shot at kicking a game winning field goal
• The NFL PLAY 60 Zone for the youngest of NFL Fans
• The opportunity for fans to meet some of their favorite NFL players of the past and present, including autograph sessions
• The history of the game on display including the opportunity to get an up-close look at all past Super Bowl championship rings and a photo opportunity with the one and only Vince Lombardi Trophy
• The NFL SHOP at Super Bowl, complete with the largest offering of official NFL limited-edition Super Bowl 50 merchandise and the latest in authentic NFL products

Finally, nothing beats a FREE concert the day before the game. Yes, you read that right! Alicia Keys will be performing in a concert on the San Francisco Embarcadero the night before Super Bowl 50! The concert will be at Sue Bierman Park near the Ferry Building, which is an easy cab ride away! Additional performers and the stage schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
